Daniel J. Kessler, Esq.

Daniel Kessler is a former prosecutor with experience in all aspects of litigation through jury trial and appeal.

He has practiced law for more than 32 years in the Superior Court, the Courts of Appeal, the Supreme Court, and the Federal courts. 

The numerous appellate matters he has handled include the California Supreme Court case of People v. Contreras  (2018) 4 Cal.5th 349, and appellate cases such as People v. Rivera (2003) 109 Cal.App.4th 1241, People v. Poroj (2010) 190 Cal.App.4th 165, People v. E. H. (2022) 75 Cal.App.5th 467, and People v. Del Rio (2023) 94 Cal.App.5th 47

Mr. Kessler is at home on both sides of the United States-Mexican border, and is fluent in Spanish.

Prior to receiving his Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego, Mr. Kessler earned a Master of Arts in Latin American Studies from San Diego State University.  He graduated magna cum laude from the Monterey Institute of International Studies.

Mr. Kessler is a surfer who grew up in Southern California. 

Benjamin R. Seecof, Esq.

A California native, Benjamin Seecof is a surfer who enjoys fishing and traveling in Baja California.  He draws the DEADMANS® T-shirts.  He tries business fraud, trade secret, and contract disputes, as well as offers advice to small and medium-sized businesses.

With more than 32 years of experience, Mr. Seecof has an understanding of the complexities of legal disputes, and has won such cases as Lucky United Properties Investment, Inc. v. Lee (2010) 185 Cal.App.4th 125.

Mr. Seecof is a graduate of the University of California, Hastings College of the Law.  He graduated cum laude from Revelle College at the University of California in San Diego.  He was a high school valedictorian.

Scanning into the Future of Copyrightable Images:  Computer-based Image Processing Poses a Present Threat, 5 HIGH TECH. L. J. 371 (1990); 40 ASCAP Copyright Law Symposium 201.  This publication was awarded Fifth national prize in the 1990 Nathan Burkan Memorial Competition and was awarded second place in the Annual Comment Competition of the High Technology Law Journal at Boalt Hall School of Law.
